I am also interested in what people think about these boards. The lib tech has now been available for a number of months, has anyone had a chance to kite them?

You got me interested... haven't tried one, but I found a couple first hand comments:

In a nut shell, shape is good for kiting (fast board), but durability is not. They are surf boards, not kite boards. No scratches and dings, but they buckle, delam and crack when jumped strapless. Also fin box failures are reported. Kiting is just a lot tougher on boards than surfing.
