I've seen in this forum you guys kiting with a lot of weird stuff, very stimulating

there are two thing maybe you have not tried or reported yet:

1. a body board

2. an alaia .... the last trend of surfing boards: http://alaiasurfers.blogspot.com/ . ... no fins, no plastic, no concaves.

bben there ,dun the boogie thing, went custom foam, fins, fibreglass. heading to home depot for some wood!! i posted that shot awhile ago, and i want credit for my ground breaking pioneering. wood boards!!!
i have got to dig up some pics of jeff rouss from kite wind surf. in costa rica, our peanut gallery always sat on this not really flat log that looked like a salt croc.
it was about 8 foot long and was just a log. he took that thing out and after about thirty minutes of downwind flailing. he motored that croc log back upwind.
true story , and kinda makes anything shaped by anything other than mother nature, cheating.
hats off salute, to kiting's " real men of genius".
mister make your freinds stand there for 45 minutes while you ride the peanut gallery log guy!!
