hey guys, first time posting. Really enjoy the site.
so i love to see what different boards people are riding and what they think of them. So here are two of my favorites. The first is a kite skim board that I picked up in Argentina. I found it in a shop near Buenos Aires and the guy told me "you cant ride a skimboard on the rio de la plata, its too choppy". He sold it to me for cheap, and I soon proved him wrong. It basically looks like a knocked off Nobile...I reckon they acquired one and copied the design....or maybe nobile took if from these guys (highly unlikely)
the second board is also my favorite surfboard. A 5'7" Larry Mabile twinzer....this board goes upwind better then a tri, but is looser then a quad. Overall, I am really stoked on it. Once you get into the wave it comes alive. Its been challenging to learn airs with it (its heavy) but after seeing modicas posts about using your feet to keep the board with you, I think its possible.
cheers!
