bungee on a board

I just became aware of the noboard, seems captures the essence of this forum, but on snow:
http://www.noboard.ca/
I injured my knee snowboarding almost a decade ago and it still hurts to hang a snowboard off my leg when on the chairlift. I've given up snowboarding from that reason, but took on snowkiting instead. The noboard bindings have me excited about chairlift snowboarding again, strapless :D .
Growing up we used to put inner tubes around the deck and trucks of our skateboards. It would allow us to do strapless airs without having to ollie.
It seems like putting a bungee onto a strapless kiteboard, like the noboard, might make the learning curve of new tricks easier.
You could use something like a nsi stick on foot pad insert for the nose/tail, then use a bungee leash (available from a boating store) and be good to go.
What do you guys think?
This video is longwinded but got a chuckle out of me, and worth a view:

p.s. I just found a used placebo surfskate and I'm giddy.

Sflinux, thanks a lot for posting that. Really interesting. Its funny, but I have specifically avoided learning how to Snowboard because I was afraid of getting addicted to another sport like I am with Kitesurfing, and since I am so far from any good snow I figured I just better stick with the water. Although, I have to say, that style of riding snow really intrigued me. You are right for sure that those guys are definitely brothers from another mother, and certainly share the same type of passion for pure freedom with their version of strapless riding. Really cool.

I am not sure about applying the same theory to strapless kiteboard since unlike the snowboarders we have the kite and bar to deal with as well. Some people like the Skyhook or Klingon pads to help ease the learning curve of strapless riding.

You are going to love your Placebo. That is a super fun board, and hard to beat for sure. Enjoy!! :D
