THIS BOARD IS THE SH#%!!!!!!!

Are you killing it on your surfboard? Have a question about riding styles or a trick? What surfboards work, what doesn't. This is the place to talk about your surfboard gear.

Jon, what size is your Surfskate and what size would you recommend for a 176 lbs, 6'0" (80kg, 183cm) guy like me?

hmmm. Well i like the 4'10 but i weigh 155 lbs.
I would go for the 5'0. Unless you want to ride it in high winds.
If you want it for more of a light-medium go for the 5'0

Hi Jon,
Thanks for the post. How much tail and nose rocker is on your board? I imagine that the tail rocker is pretty low for early planing. Do you have a picture of the side view of your board, board flat on the table?
Thanks for the list of boards you like. I've been having fun on a bic 5'10" fish. I hated it initially, but then removed the center fin and like the board now as a twinser. The wide tail makes it pretty easy to do ollie airs. This board is tough so I don't have to worry about heel dents or braking it. The placebo surfskate is on my wish list. Thinking about making a board like your new one...

haha, sorry, cant give away ALL my secrets!!
Picking a board depends on entirely what you want.
If you really just want to get out in lighter days and shred around the surfskate is great.
If you want something a little more versatile, you would have to get on something with a little more surf influence.
