Has anyone tried kiteing with one? I'm sure it's a lot of board to handle on really windy days with lots of chop, but on lighter wind days I wonder if it could be fun?

I've often wondered about a mini Simmons. I've not surfed one so I don't know what there like for that either.

I couldn't help notice the similarity between the out line of a mini Simmons and the direction race boards have taken.

When Slingshot released the Knee Swacker in there 2012 line up I was quite interested. I'm not sure how meany they have sold but I can't find an actual review online by someone who spent there own money on one and I'm reluctant to spend big bucks on one to find out there a dog.

If they work they could really be my holy grail of a board I can kite and paddle in.

If you do get to try one let us know how you get on. I'll be interested.

I don't know where your based but in the UK we have a brand called Circle One. They make some quite good surfboards and kite boards, made in China but still good. A good friend is a distributed and was sent this press release

I don't think there intended as kite boards but when there released there price will be very competitive with other boards and they may be worth a look.

Those Circle One boards look fun. I'm in the NW United State and have not heard of them before. I want to build a hollow wood board and after all that work I would like to have fun surfing it as well as kiteing it. I'll just have to dive in and try it.
