Beginner strapless with a C-kite (unhooked)

Are you killing it on your surfboard? Have a question about riding styles or a trick? What surfboards work, what doesn't. This is the place to talk about your surfboard gear.

Beginner strapless with a C-kite (unhooked)

Teaching my daughter how to ride. Plenty of experience flying kites and also riding a wakeskate, snowboard, windsurfing etc. Tried a twin tip but not enough float = frustration. Using C-kites (5.5, 7.5m Generators) cause it's all we got. Put her on my 6-0 in some wind with the 5.5. bang! up and riding. me: "want to ride the twin?", Her: "Na, Strapless is funner!" WOOT! Got another break-through session with the 7.5m last weekend. Already riding toeside, unhooked and made 1 or 2 jibes. -Hein (proud parent)

I thought you weren't supposed to post pics of that location! HAHA just kidding that's sweet but I wouldn't expect anything less from one of your own.

Nice! We want to see some vids of you guys! I just took my nephew out last weekend for his first session. He is 4, and was skimming with me on my back. He already wants the kite in his hand... He is gonna have to wait a bit for that one.

Another good session last weekend. Her on the 5.5 Generator and one of my earlier 5-9 strapless quads and me on the 5 Fuel+pulley bar and my insanely sweet 4.5lb 6-0. I think she is unhooking for her jibes :D
