SINGLE FIN??

Hey i was wondering if anyone has kited on a retro single fin?
kinda like this shape...
i image it would be really fun for small waves

looks like a modernized retro, newer rockers? singles are perty damn cool and the ones ive ridden seem to really hang deep in hollow pockets. usually perty quick down the line with a pivoty turn and it would be wise to continue that retro outfit with a beavertail wetsuit. and maybe a big lighting bolt across the deck.
it would be a sweet thing to watch as it might tend to clean up the flow the turns. soul arches would not look out of place.

im still working on the "coffin", and that board looks like the tool for the job. hell, 1 fin change on that bugger would make a ton of difference ,even the abilty to move the fin "fro"ward or back? a mini foil fin?

i have been thinking of the exact same question. Unfortunately I do not own a single currently, but I would like to. I just saw a 5'8" al merrick single fin (which is a great surfboard by itself) in perfect condition for sale down the street for $400....hmmmmmm

i reckon the low rocker, thick rail, and big fin could be really fun in small mushy waves. Would love to hear if anybody has a go on one
