Hi I am new to the forum an would like to say thanks. This site is awesome. I have been riding mostly strapless the past year and see less and less use for them. I Was wondering if any one here has ridden any of the DOYLE CUSTOM Boards strapless. The freewave or the monkey wave boards looks like nice shapes and would be pretty indestructible if they ride well. I would guess that they are a bit heavy but was curious if any one with some experience would know. I am currently riding a surftechg untraflex UFO, and While it rides well in med to high wind it certainly does not feel like it will last.

Hi patrick, welcome to LTS, and glad you like it.

Unfortunately never had a chance to ride one of those boards, but I had a proper look at the extensive description on the website, and if you accept a second hand opinion for what it's worth, I would say, the guy knows what he's talking about. A lot of the details he describes about his shapes, and what you see in the pics, concur with my experiences of board making, and riding every board I can lay my hands on. So yeah, I would give a double thumbs up based on what I see, and I hope I will be able to ride those beauties one day.

cheers, tungsten
