NORTH EAST KITE DEMO

Postby q-ball » Wed Jul 01, 2009 10:07 pm

Although we didn't have any wind on the Cape on demo day,we found stuff to keep us occupied, the surf was firring. It gave Todd and i a chance to show off our mad skills without our kites to keep us afloat while Jon was killing it as usual!Even though they couldn't stay for the wind the next day they left the kites to demo. The Crossbow as usual is a quality great flying kite but the real winner in my book is the Nomad! This kite is super stable and stays put in the window! This is a strapless riders dream!Fast turning for those wave days and rock solid stable in the sky! If you get a chance to try one you should no matter what you ride, it's a trip!Just don't be surprised if it tries to tear your arms off on that first kite loop!
Thanks again to Todd & Jon for making it up hear

Hey Todd,

Yeah, I was impressed with the Nomad as well. I got to try Jon's in May at the Kitemasters event @ Crandon. Although, I think that the range of the Nomad will be much more narrow than I like. The Switchblade is such a smooth looping kite, and rock solid as well. It would be pretty hard to make a "switch". I did really like the turning speed of the Nomad, but in the smaller sizes that would be a real adjustment for my riding style, and possibly paying big for rider error. :P
