Deck pad

This is the place to talk about riding styles, tricks, conditions, what works, what doesn't on your skimboard. Wondering about what skimboard to get for kiting? Post it all here.

Deck pad

Hi all,
Been kiting for 10 years and just really got hooked on the skim. Managed to get myself a Dune skim and can't wait to use it. I have been riding the nobile for the last 3 months and thought it was time to try finless skatey skimming. I have a rear deck pad which feels fine but I am after some deck padding for the front foot.
I can't seem to locate a retailer that sells any purpose made pads here in the U.K, is there an alternative I can use or anyone here in the U.K that can source one?

I'm in the process of building a surf style board and ran into the same issue. What I did is order a tailpad for a longboard (surfboard) as they dont have the kick in the tail.
Like this (just gonna spin it around backwards):

You might want to look into SUP deck pads. They are huge and not much more expensive. Good enough for a couple kite boards.
