Joey Pasquali at Gorge Games

I see on the dangleforum that Joey Pasquali placed ??4th in freestyle at the Gorge games riding strapless I presume on a skim??? Anyone know anything more about this? That is one bit of video I would surely like to see.

Yeah, I was there too. Bryan Lake and Joey and that other dude Cameron I think we killing it. A couple days before the event just ridign in the butter water at the spit with those guys was impressive, so much motivation to push harder. The huge ollies and KL board varial transitions were sick!! They put on a show for the freestyle..Jon took out his snub-nose too and was nailing some huge ollies to switch... I wish I would have entered!

I was so confident after riding I decided to enter the race series strapless and it was a blast!!
There is actually a grip of guys here in Oregon that ride strapless like it's our job!!

Man, I should have gone to that event. Sounds like a lot of fun and very motivational. I wish we had some video of it. Jon said that he never got a chance to shoot any.

Watching all those guys throw down at the sandbar was insperational. I have found myself putting my twin tip down more and more on windy days and going for the skim instead. It is great to have such an amazing group of strapless riders out here looking to push each other every session! Just got word that there is a skim specific slider down at the sandbar....Pics to come.

Great too see other skim rippers out there! Since skim-kiters are fairly rare (REALLY rare where I'm at..)
We don't get to rub shoulders w/others, and sharpen one another..
