Phase 5 Razz vs. Megaloaf vs. ??? for choppy/surf

This is the place to talk about riding styles, tricks, conditions, what works, what doesn't on your skimboard. Wondering about what skimboard to get for kiting? Post it all here.

Phase 5 Razz vs. Megaloaf vs. ??? for choppy/surf

Hi,

I'm looking for some insights since I will have to buy a board without trying.

I only ride directionals strapped and unstrapped in waves and our choppy bay. We almost never get any flat water.

I want a skim/ wakesurf board that will be playful and light like a skim, but will handle the chop well. I'm looking to ride in ocean chop, small waves and work on my strapless freestyle.

These two boards seem well recommended here. Which one will handle messy conditions best?

I'm 190lbs.

Thanks
mtnrde
