Im really interested in a wakeskate board since i went to a cable park and they were all on them, is there any one out there who rides then and got any good and bad reviews?
also, wheres a good place to order them over the net.
Thanks,

Hey General,

Welcome to losethestraps! Love the signature :D I think you are the second Aussie here. Cool! One day I am going to get over there to ride.

Check out the information on the wakeskate that sflinux is building:

Hopefully, he will pop on the board in the next few days and give you his feedback. Also, he was mentioning that he was going to post pictures of his new wakeskate, and possibly how to build it.

I have been riding a Hyperlite wakeskate for about a year. It is kinda small and tons of rocker and weight. I only ride it when I am super lit like 7m conditions or if I am riding in this super butter spot we have where the current cranks against the wind at like 11 knots....crazy.

I have seen a couple that have less rocker and they seem more kite-friendly. Alvero Oniva had a pretty nice one(custom) but it looked too light...anytime you get air/ollie the thing would fly away.

i think a happy medium between weight and rocker would be the ticket.

I'll post up some pics when I home.

We need an underground exposee on this spot. Post some photos, but nothing too revealing so that it's easy to recognize. In the meantime, I'm going to put out the feelers to see where this place is!! enjoy
