Newbie!

Hi,

As a newbie, I thought i would do the courteous thing and introduce myself!

Firstly, just want to say how super pumped I am to find this site! Means I don't have to bore the missus so much with my obsessive kiting talk!

I'm pretty new to the sport, picking up a little over 12 months ago after moving from the UK to Australia. In the UK, I was situated literally the furthest point from the coast, so didn't get the opportunity to practice any water-sports :(

I learnt on a TT, I guess as do most, but then 'progressed' to a UD ~4 months ago (now considered the black sheep among the group I learned with...). I've only got 2 strapless sessions under my belt, with nothing more exciting than just time up on the board and out on the water :D I don't have any significant surfing experience, so still very much developing my board skills, but what I did really enjoy was the 'natural' feel and the increased comfort of riding strapless! Other than being knackered from concentrating so hard, I could have ridden all day!

Really looking forward to getting involved & pester you guys with a heap of questions!

Cheers, Jonny :D
